Lakewood-based Eberl Buys Colonial Adjustment

Eberl Claims Service, a Lakewood-based claims solutions provider, completed its acquisition of Colonial Adjustment, Inc., a New England independent adjusting firm, as of March 15, 2024. The union of the firms aims to develop and innovate their claims services, underpinned by a shared commitment to customer-centric values and exceptional service quality.

Founded in 1974, Colonial Adjustment has been a staple in New England’s claims landscape for five decades, known for its accuracy, timeliness, and commitment to business partnerships. Its services are diverse, stretching from residential and commercial property losses to casualty, liability claims, auto claims, formal appraisals, and litigation preparations. These services span across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont.

With the deal in place, Colonial Adjustment’s partners and developing adjusters will be able to access training from Eberl’s Claims Adjuster Training Institute (CATI), offering comprehensive training covering a variety of claim-related topics.
