Jefferson Success Academy Now Seeking Staff for Summer 2024 Program

Staffing positions are now open for Edgewater Collective’s Jefferson Success Academy summer program for 2024. The program, which aims to serve current third to fifth-grade students in the Jefferson area schools, including Edgewater and Lumberg, is set to return this summer, offering a four-week educational enhancement course.

The academy intends to provide a bilingual staff across all three of the classrooms, guaranteeing a multilingual learning environment. The summer program will take place at the Edgewater Elementary School and will offer various incentives, including paid planning time daily, free team lunches on Fridays, and a classroom grant for the ensuing school year.

Aditionally, staff members will be provided with classroom materials and supplies for the duration of the summer program. The schedule for the program is as follows: Staff Training will be conducted on May 30-31 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the main program will run from June 3-28 excluding June 19.

The positions open for hiring include an Instructional Coach, three Co-Teachers, three Lead Teachers, and four Enrichment Teachers. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to send their resumes to Joel Newton.
