Tetra Tech Gets $439M Ukraine Energy Deal
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has granted Tetra Tech, a public consulting and engineering services firm with an office in Jeffco, a $439 million contract to bolster energy security and resilience in Ukraine. The single-award contract spans five years and is a part of USAID’s Securing Power, Advancing Resilience & Connectivity Activity.
Under the contract, Tetra Tech will provide the Ukrainian Government with strategic technical assistance in the natural gas, electricity, and district heating sectors to improve resilience, reliability, and security. In addition, Tetra Tech will assist the Ukrainian Government in meeting and exceeding the European Union’s energy-related requirements, while also improving energy efficiency in the commercial and industrial sectors.
